FMNI is a training organisation, we train and support a Sessional Panel of Family Mediators who are all members of College of Mediators and/or Mediators Institute Ireland to deliver our family mediation service throughout NI.

Training & Supervision Team
Eimear Hayden
A Family Mediator and Professional Practice Consultant with FMNI. She was accredited as a Practitioner Member of The MII in 2002 and has worked with the Family Mediation Service, Ireland, as a mediator, trainer and supervisor since 2002. Eimear participated in MNI’s MOST Programme for international peace-building and exchange (2009-2013). She is also part of a new all-island study group looking at Child Inclusive Practice in family mediation and other fields. Eimear chaired the Mediators’ Institute Ireland Ethics & Standards Committee.
Davina Clements
Davina is a qualified Social Worker and worked in a variety of Family & Child Care services, including with the Social Services Trust and later employed in Barnardos providing therapeutic and assessment work with families. She has experience managing and developing operational services to meet service outcomes. Davina qualified as a Family Mediator in 2008 and went on to achieve accreditation status through the College of mediators. She continues to work in the area of restorative practice and is a member of the College of Mediators. Davina has just completed a post-graduate Diploma in Strategy & Leadership at QUB. Davina works with FMNI as Lead Practitioner and Direct Child Consultant within the Charity.
Polly Rowan Hamilton
An accredited Family Mediator with FMNI and a Professional Practice Consultant, Polly was formerly a teacher with some twenty years’ experience. Polly is currently employed by FMNI as a Mediator and is a UK accredited specialist in Older Persons Mediation. Polly is also a member of the FMNI training team.
Aedin Bradley
An accredited Family Mediator and Professional Practice Consultant with FMNI. She is also a practicing Family Lawyer with over 25 years’ experience and is on the Children’s Order panel for Northern Ireland as well as a practicing Collaborative Law Solicitor.
Rosalind Dunlop
Rosalind has been mediating regularly in family disputes since training with FMNI as a Family Mediator in 2010. She became accredited with the Family Mediation Council for child-focused mediation in 2013 and is an approved member of the UK College of Mediators. She was certified as a Mediation Professional Practice Consultant in 2019. Rosalind comes from a legal background having qualified as a solicitor in 1993.
Sessional Mediator Panel
FMNI contracts with a Panel of sessional Professional Mediators, who have completed the approved Foundation Training Programme and who adhere to College of Mediators UK and Mediators Institute Ireland standards and FMNI policies. As a condition of their Service Level Agreement, Panel members are required to be registered with membership bodies, attend supervision, group supervision and Continuous Professional Development training events.
Mediators are required to work towards accredited status and are fully insured to practice on behalf of FMNI.
